Irritations, frustration tend to get me down,
spin round in my head and give me a frown.
Rude and wrongful I have acted to you
for patience I have not, at all, turned to.

Sorry cannot begin to describe,
lucky for me you've not unsubscribed
from the love we share and deeply treasure,
two hearts that provide so much pleasure.

Regret and distress I feel right now,
as I have not stuck to my vow.
You I have wronged, that is true,
for forgiveness I plead and ask of you.

My heart, my love, my dear husband,
my loving partner and trusted muffin,
please forgive me and so allow me
to show you how love truly can be.

I take my vow and reiterate:
my love for you I will illustrate
in love and kind, no proud or envy,
forever I'll love you, gently and plenty.
